This modern architectural home with styling derived from mid-century modernism is designed to feel like it is ‘floating’ by way of maximum glazing on the lower floor mixed with thin structural sections to support an upper level that showcases sleek shapes that represent a nautical feel.

The minimalistic materials used throughout the home consist of clean white render, black structural steel, angular glass windows and composite timber cladding. Representative of a yacht construction, this home feels connected to the beach and ocean that it sits proudly in front of.

Using a series of stackable door systems to the front and rear of the entire lower level, it can open into an outdoor space to create a thoroughfare through the house maximising the entertaining space and giving you a direct line of view through to the ocean and the endless horizon.
