I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Scott Salisbury Homes for constructing such a beautiful home for us. This is the third time we have built with Scott Salisbury Homes and on each occasion we have been overwhelmed with the support, knowledge and quality customer service we have received. Nothing is ever too hard.
There was a lot of planning involved in the house and we were on a tight schedule so it was an obvious choice to build with the people we trust and so we engaged Scott Salisbury Homes again. We were extremely happy when just 28 weeks after commencement we were handed to keys to our new home. On top of that, at no time during construction was the quality of work compromised.
We are delighted with the final result and proud to show our family and friends through the home, all of whom are in awe of the space, design, quality and luxe feel it has. We absolutely enjoy having guests over who can relax in the number of living spaces we have created.
So impressed with Scott Salisbury Homes - we are about to embark on another project with the group.
On behalf of myself and my wife we would like to thank the team at Scott Salisbury homes for their work in building our dream home.
From the planning to the construction and right through to the final stages, the supervisor which dealt with us were well equipped to listen to our questions, deal with our complaints and solve our problems where necessary.
I would confidently say that despite the extra money spent at Scott Salisbury Homes, it was money well spent. The price was obviously not only for bricks and mortar but for the excellent service, finish jobs well out of warrant and most importantly answering telephone calls.
Once again I would like to thank you all; for your time and effort with this project. Our recommendation would be don’t just build a home but build with Scott Salisbury!
Both Sue and I would like to thank you so much for the marvellous experience we have had with your people starting of course with our Sales Coordinator Annie, Project Coordinator Sherralee and Supervisor, Gint and your office/backroom people who we know are there but not seen and are so often taken for granted but without whom "things" just don’t happen, so if you would pass that on to all we would very much appreciate that.
We would like to mention your sub-contractors and what a magnificent group of "tradies" you have and thoroughly enjoyed seeing what they do, how they did it, and each day enjoying their friendship even if only in passing but for a week or so and making us so welcome even if we were perhaps a bit of a pest.
So Sir we both thank you for building us a home we really "love" and enjoy.
Thank you to Scott Salisbury Homes for bringing our home renovation dreams to reality. We had renovated our old home some 16 years ago to accommodate a growing family. It had a wow factor at that time, but now it was tired and there were several aspects that either weren’t included at the time or had become impractical.
We wanted to establish a new parents retreat area and extend an outdoor living and entertainment area. Our starting point was with Salisbury’s, having heard of their fine reputation and admiring their designs. We met with David, one of Salisbury’s renovations consultants, who was able to translate our thoughts into a picture that matched our dream. Furthermore, he was able to modify our dream to match our budget. David “had us at hello” and we settled confidently with Salisbury’s.
That confidence never waivered through the entire building process, with site manager, Greg ensuring the project was running efficiently and to a high standard of workmanship. Greg is a wonder to work with for the client, maintaining open communication and a can do attitude. The tradesmen employed by Salisbury were all very professional and no trouble to have about the house during construction.
We are delighted with the finished result and extremely impressed with Salisbury’s follow up maintenance program. We have no reservation in recommending Scott Salisbury Homes for any building project.
Let me first start off by saying what a magnificent house you have constructed for us. The quality of the work and attention to detail has surpassed any expectations that we envisioned from the start and at the same time extinguishing any doubts that we've might have had after the initial hiccup.
The house is everything we expected minus a few defects which are minute and totally understandable. In fact it's quite an exceptional presentation of workmanship as it was done in the past and should continue to be done in the future. We are now totally satisfied with our original choice to choose SSH as our builder.
I would like to thank SSH for building our dream home and if the work continues as it has with us I'm sure SSH will be around for a long time.
The Scott Salisbury team comprises of the most friendly, thorough and efficient professionals who excel at what they do. Their attention to detail and flexibility in accommodating our needs was much appreciated – especially since we were going through the renovation process with a 4-month-old baby!
We now live in the home we’ve always wanted and Scott Salisbury Homes helped us achieve this dream. We definitely recommend their services to anyone who just wants to sit back and watch their dreams turn into reality.
In our house we have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 chickens, 1 rabbit, 1 mother in law, 2 pre-school aged children and 2 parents with full time jobs. A renovation on the scale we undertook was a daunting task however the superior project management, communication and consideration of the SS team resulted in a relative stress free experience. Our home has transforms from a dark dungeon full of sub-standard fittings and fixtures to a light, open welcome space with a quiet understated air of quality. Our renovation experience realized a dream for us. We now have a home we are proud of and accommodates every one of our very extended family. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I would also like to make special mention of Greg. Greg was no doubt the number one reason this renovation was so successful. He was always available to us, made suggestions for improvements, ensured everything ran to schedule and his quality expectations were higher than ours! Not something often said of a project manager! Greg was amazing.
When we decided to renovate our 110 year old villa, Scott Salisbury Homes weren’t the first builders we talked to. They were, however, the only ones who truly listened to our brief.
We didn’t want a traditional “heritage sympathetic” extension. We wanted an edgy, slightly industrial look with clean lines, exposed steel struts, white walls and concrete floors.
From the initial meeting, designer Stuart Blake produced three concepts for our perusal. We loved them all, but chose the one that was the best fit for our family both at the time, and as our children grew.
When people renovate, everyone seems to have a “renovation horror story” to tell. Not for us. The Scott Salisbury team were professional, personable and always accessible to discuss any concerns or ideas we had. We thoroughly recommend you talk to the Scott Salisbury Homes team about turning your renovation dreams into a reality.
We never intended to build, but after years of failing to find a home we loved we ended up buying 6 acres of land and realised we were now going to need a builder. We were aware of Scott Salisbury Homes high quality and reputation, but never that they would be interested in tackling the style of house we wanted.
After developing concept drawings we approached SSH and were thrilled that they were as excited as us to take on the project. We were just as excited that they were not the most expensive quote as the other two builders we had also approached.
The entire selection process which we thought could have been quite difficult and stressful was enjoyable and exciting.
At the end of the build it was sad to say goodbye to these wonderful people, but we will always have a huge level of respect and gratitude to each and every one of them for creating our much loved family home and for making it such a wonderful experience.
We are very proud of our home and quick to point out who built it. We now have a fantastic home for our family and friends to enjoy. We can’t thank you all enough for making all of this possible in such an enjoyable and professional way.
We wanted to write to you to let you know how happy we have been with the whole process. We were most impressed right from the very beginning when we first met Rick and Simon to discuss options through to the handover of our new home.
You have a wonderful company of staff. Mary was outstanding and made the whole process easy. Our site supervisor, Mark was exceptional and his attention to detail has resulted in us living in a stunning new home. Most of our friends who have built a house before with other building companies say they would never do it again - we don’t share their thoughts. For us the whole building process went without any major hitches and despite building in the Adelaide Hills in winter, we moved in exactly at 34 weeks as promised. Others that also deserve a special mention, we found John at KBF fantastic, Beaumont tiles were great, Coral at Routleys plumbing was superb, Paul our earthmover, Mark our carpenter, Norm and our brickies, Manfred the electrician and his boys. Clearly they all take great pride in their work and always polite and courteous.
The house looks magnificent and exceeded both our imagination. We will be recommending Scott Salisbury Homes to all our friends.
Scott Salisbury Homes had a job to renovate our 1900’s home and to blend the old with the new. The entire building process from beginning with the sales, designer, site supervisor and handover was done with so much enthusiasm and class that the whole experience was stress free and streamline. Each person was so professional and the trade’s people did the best job and nothing was ever too much trouble.
As a result we got the exact product we wanted and are so happy. We would have no hesitation to recommend Scott Salisbury Homes to other people whether it was to build a new home or a renovation such as ours.
Thank you so much.
"Congratulations to the Renovations and Additions team at Scott Salisbury Homes for your award winning transformation of our home. Your task was to recreate a Tudor facade and it had to be achieved with retaining the framework of the existing second story (due to council now prohibiting new second story additions in the area). We loved your designer's first 3D impression and our home now looks exactly as predicted. The entire building process travelled seamlessly from sales to design to council approvals to project co-ordination to site supervision to handover to after sales service. All staff members have a specific job and they do it well with enthusiasm and pride. Each and every trades person we met along the way was highly skilled and treated us and our home with the highest respect. Your on going success is without a doubt a reflection of the effective systems your company has in place and the dedication and knowledge of each individual team member.
It has been a pleasure to travel this journey with you and we will without hesitation recommend your services to others."
Scott Salisbury Homes (SSH) provided us with a very thorough and personalised service in the building of our dream home.
We gave SSH our brief of ‘must have’ dot points and their concept designs met every point, including price – which no other builder had done! The designer assigned to us understood our desire to build a uniquely original, yet functional home, and he enthusiastically worked with us to achieve the Balinese style we were after.
During construction our Building Supervisor provided exceptional customer service and we had ample opportunity to meet him on site and to have access during construction. The end result was well worth the effort.
The ultimate question is, would we build with SSH again, and the answer would be a very positive yes!
After buying a block in a developed area, Craig and Amy wanted a home to suit the street with enough room for the youngsters, Harry and Sophie.
The concept came from the Salisbury catalogue designs and resulted in a split-level home which captures peaceful views.
Craig says they were also looking for the flexibility to customise the house to suit the sloping block.
“We went round to some project builders but no one had the attitude we got from Scott Salisbury – that, ‘yes’ they could get this done and that done with minimum fuss,” Craig says.
“Others were quick to point out that sloping blocks could be expensive but, with Scott Salisbury, it seemed to be more of a challenge and they would say, ‘this is what it is’ and ‘we’ll make it work to get the best result’.”
Brad and Anita moved back to Adelaide from a brief stint in Sydney and, after struggling to find a home they liked, the couple discovered Scott Salisbury Homes.
“Scott Salisbury were unique in that they said “don’t select a, b, c, or d - what do you want?” Brad says.
“So we basically took our years of renting and rolled all the things we liked into what we have now.”
Brad says the relaxed procedure continued throughout the building period and took any stress out of the experience.
“We had a colour designer for the outside but you can also take up the service for inside cabinets and colours which we found one of the hardest things to do,” he says.
“The house just flows now. We didn’t expect to use that service but it just made sense when you have so many choices to make. It was well-worth that extra attention.”
With a desire for reputation and quality, David and Elaine went to Scott Salisbury Homes to have an in-house architect create a home for their sloping site.
“They took our ideas and needs and put them together with their experience, Elaine says. The result really speaks for itself.
“What we learned is their selection of trades people is also of a very high standard which gives the design excellent end results.”
The couple’s experience with builders was “relatively novice” and, according to Elaine, they were looking for a smooth experience.
“We have enjoyed this process from start to finish and we couldn’t be happier. The result is better than we had ever imagined.”
The first thing guests notice about the home of David and Judy Holst is how bright and spacious the place is. It has become the perfect integration of indoor and outdoor living.
David says that was one of the design requests. “It’s absolutely how we imagined it - big, roomy and lots of light,” he says. Consistent
pitched ceilings join the entertaining areas and the stunning outdoor area includes a pool, spa, frameless glass fences, outdoor kitchen, barbecue and a peaceful
With four bedrooms, a theatre room, Smeg appliances and underfloor heating throughout, the home has all the features expected for luxury family living.
David says they chose Scott Salisbury Homes to create the space because of the company’s reputation.
Seeking a perfect heritage residence, Fiona came to Scott Salisbury Homes with her own design. It was a project which had to be tackled correctly so the charm of the heritage look was fully captured. Fiona says the finished project has an air of prestige. “I wasn’t sure about what should go into the perfect heritage home and Scott Salisbury Homes was always there making suggestions and making sure it looked good. “I appreciated all the advice because things are exactly as I imagined - no, probably better. Small details such as the use of solid timber, decorative skirtings, a bullnose veranda and classic gables were used to complement the design. The selections were carefully chosen to suit other heritage homes in the neighbourhood. Fiona says the attention took the pressure away from her. “I even sent a letter when we were finished just to say it was a pleasure building. “You don’t hear many people say building was a pleasure.” If the build process had happened to be stressful, Fiona would have known. She was around the site for a lot of it. “I couldn’t help it, I just had to keep visiting,” she says. “They were so good about that so, for me, that’s money well spent.”But today, it’s Fiona who gets the visitors.“They knock on the door when they are passing by just to comment on the home,” she says.
Mark and Kellie had first-hand insight into the quality finishes of Scott Salisbury Homes - Mark has helped supply kitchens to the residences for years.
“I’ve watched them grow for 15 years and I’ve seen a lot of houses along the way,” Mark says.
“The system they use is just fantastic and they leave no stone unturned.
“You hear a lot of bad stories about building but for us it was just a dream and so much fun – we thoroughly enjoyed it.
But even with that experience, Mark says he wanted peace-of-mind for the couple’s first time building a home.
“It was just what we were hoping for, it met our expectations and I have a very happy wife,” Mark laughs.
